Snow Fun!!!

This afternoon was perfect for making a snowman and snowball fights. I finally was able to get out there and play with the two of them! We had so much fun, but we missed our little Austin, who was napping. Next time buddy!!!

Christmas Tree and First Snow

Got the Christmas decorations up!! YAY and with help from the neighbors we got the tree done too. We had the neighbors over this weekend for a "soup swap" so to speak. Four different families, four different soups. YUMMY! And all homemade. Today was the first big snowfall out here and was still only about 3 inches. Madison had so much fun with daddy. They even went on a four wheeler ride! After Austin woke up I took him outside for just alittle bit. But before that when we were up in Austins room, Garrett was throwing snowballs at Austin's window and Austin was just loving it. It was one of those Americas Funniest Video moments. So funny! This is the only picture I can post for right now, hopefully soon I can post the ones of the tree.

Happy Birthday Makenzie!

So I was thinking this morning about posting a shout out for our niece and it feels like I just did this for her 5th birthday! I can't believe she is 6 already! Happy Birthday Kenzie!!!
Not much has been going on over here. Friday night we had a bit of a scare with Madion's humidifier. It ran out of water and started melting the plastic. We woke up at 5am to the smoke detectors screaming "FIRE". Her room was half full of smoke. All is good though we got her out and she seems ok from it. No damage to her or her room. It did give us a good example to talk fire safety though. I still haven't been able to get my photos off my camera, but I'm still working on it. I'm trying a new system to cleaning the house and laundry. Couple rooms, a couple loads a day. I'm hoping that will help keep the whole house clean at the same time :) Ok I've gotta get AJ some breakfast. I hope everyone has a beautiful Thanksgiving!!!!

Birthday Party and visits!

We had such a good visit in Elko last week. Austin's first birthday party was good. The cake turned out better than I thought it would so that made me very happy. He got so many gifts!! Thank you everyone. Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Ronnie's new house if so beautiful. We had a great visit with them. Michelle took some pictures at the Grove in Lamoile and they turned out so nice. I can't wait to show them off! Thank you! It was a fun time, but we were all ready to be home by Sunday. The kids were very cranky, but are doing good now. Austin had his 12month appointment yesterday. He weighs 19.4lbs and is 29 inches long. He also got three shots, which he is behind on. I found this out yesterday that he was behind all the way from his 6th month. SO he got his 6 and 9 month shots and will get his 12 month shots at his 15 month appointment. Kinda makes me upset that they didn't catch this sooner, but he's ok so thats all that matters. We talked about weaning him and it seems I'm going to have "work" at it more with him than I did with Madison. She just seemed to stop and move along to milk, but he seems to want the comfort of nursing. So we are playing that by ear. Now it's time to get ready for the holidays! Trick-or-Treat!

Ok so we've been busy doing the usual halloween things! We had a carving party last weekend with the neighbors. Lots of fun. and Then we went to a trunk or treat, a school carnival, and of course the usual trick-or-treating. It was fun dressing up and going with the kids. Austin did really good and didn't try to rip off his costume too much :) Austin has started milk and I am slowly weaning him. I think he said "kitty" the other day when he saw Joey. So cute, he still doesn't say mama but he's mastered kitty. Hmmm. Other than that we are just hanging out. Getting ready to come home and see everyone. On a sader note, 7 more days till my baby is one!

We've been really busy over here trying to get better. I'm so tired with the cold and the sick kids. We are slowly trying to get Garrett ready for his hunting trip. I'm hoping he has a good time and gets to shoot a deer. Hopefully we'll be feeling better by then. My sister and her hubby are coming up for that weekend. Austin has gotten two teeth and I wanted to share the picture I got of them. And I think Madison's outfit for Halloween is complete so I thought I'd so that off too! Hope everyone is well. I'll try to post more, when we get off our sick butts and get out of the house :)

Oh the things they say!

Madison and I are watching a movie and somehow Christmas popped into my head, so I asked her what she wanted Santa to bring her. She thought for a moment and said, "I want a new piggy bank". So cute. Not sure where that came from, but it was so out of the blue!
Austin is doing good with the breathing treatments. And he is sleeping alittle better so hopefully its helping. He's still got a cough, but I think its part of his cold too. A humidifier to may help, but not sure if I should do warm air, or cold?? Anyone??
Ok I've gotta get in the shower, we have a party to go to today :) Have a great weekend!

Uploading Pictures

So I've noticed that I haven't uploaded pictures to walmart.com for a long time. So I'm getting that done right now. There will be alot of pictures, all the way from July!! Sorry :) Garrett went back to work yesterday on days!! Yay (for the days part) It was nice to have him off for so long and not have to DO anything. The kids loved him home, as did I! We had lots of fun hanging out, going to the fair, riding the four wheeler at 5 mile, and just hanging out together. Madison is good as usual. Just having some issues in the sharing with brother department. Austin is getting big, too big! He's crawling everywhere, which is fun, but I find that I can't sit still for long. (Could be why I'm so behind with the pictures and blog huh). He's got two teeth now, the bottom two, so he's alittle cranky. His cough is getting worse. Not sure why but he seems to cough more when he is excited or hot. Might be asthma?? Got to call the doctor. Going to take the kids to story time at the library tomorrow, which should be fun. Other than that just busy chasing the kids and keeping them busy during the day. Ok gotta finish the pictures and get to the store. Enjoy the pictures!!

Finished Patio and more...

So Garrett finally got the patio finished! YAY it looks so nice. He's a picture but it looks so much better in person. We've just been hanging out around the house and the neighbors house letting the kids play. Austin's finally crawling and loves chasing Madison around. So exhausting! Garretts working a long stretch, 5 nights. We are half way through and can't wait for his vacation to start. The kids miss him so much (and I do too of course). Chest Xray

Ok so we did Austin's chest xray yesterday. The actually have a "mold" that they put the babies in. It wrapped around his body and he had to have his hands straight up above his head. Of course he cried and was upset, but he wasn't hurt, just not normal for him to be in that position. Anyways it came back as a viral cough (viral cold). They want to watch it for a few more weeks and then give him abuitural (sp). It's what they give to open the airways. I'm going to do lots of research before he goes on that though cause it is a steroid. Just wanted to let everyone know that he's ok.

9 months already!

Went to Austin's 9 month well baby checkup yesterday. No shots cause we switched doctors to a closer one over here and they didn't have Austin's paperwork. No worries though cause we can get caught up at the next appointment. They are concerned about his cough that has been going on for a few months now and want to get a chest xray done. The doctor cannot hear anything in his lungs and it's been going on before his little cold he's got. He hasn't gained much weight, he only weighs 17 pounds 8 ounces and is 27 1/4 inches long. I think he is eating enough, so he might just be like me. And as always his head is above 50% on the charts. The new doctor is nice and the facility is brand new. Ok just wanted to update the appointment. Have a great day!

August things!

so after loading the pictures I've noticed that we have actually done alot of things this month. and thats why I haven't blogged. Too busy having too much fun!! The neighbor boy down the street had his birthday on the 9th and then we all went to the Dinosaur Museum with him. The party was fun, Madison did good not opening his gifts. The museum was so busy cause we went on $2 Tuesdays. I would have liked to enjoy the museum more, it seemed we rushed through it to get it over with.

Austin's done so much this month. He's getting so big! Let's see this month he's learned how to give high fives, how to sit up from his belly, his clapping is getting better, and he's first word was dada! He's also had alot of new foods: peaches, waffles, spaghetti, chicken, and is so close to mastering the sippy cup! His favorite food is a waffle, he could eat those all day :) He goes in for his 9month appointment tomorrow so hopefully I'll update tomorrow too.

We have had a great weekend this week. We went up American Fork canyon and did some 4wheeling and some fishing. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, yumm so good. We had a great time. And also for our anniversary (Happy anniversary babe!) we went golfing yesterday. Nine hole but that was plenty. It was so relaxing. It was nice to spend some "two of us" time.

Visits and New Toys

We've been extra busy with visitors over here. It has been so much fun and tiring at the same time. My visit with my dad, brother, sister, and her hubby was nice. It was good to talk and hang out and go shopping of course. Madison got to ride the carousal with her papa and loved every minute of it!

On Thursday we went and got ourselves a new toy! We found a great deal on a 4wheeler and have been playing on it ever sense. It's so fun and its nice to be able to just get out and be away! Madison loves it and is always wanting to go ride.

Friday we got to see Kevin, Michelle, and the girls. Oh my they are getting so big! We spent a few hours at the water park and then came back to the house for a BBQ with the neighbors. It was a good visit and really nice to sit and talk to Michelle again. Anyways here is some new pictures of the weekend. Enjoy.

Peace and Quiet!

Awww the joy of a clean house and three sleeping "babies". Yes they are all down and my house is clean. Lucky me :) ANyways I'm blogging cause I went in to check on Austin cause he was playing for a long time before he got really quiet. Now I know I should just be thankful that its quiet but I am worrier! So i got in to his room and found him sleeping like this! So of course I run to get the camera and creep into his room and proceed taking pictures as quietly as my noisy camera will let me. I got a few with the flash and everything and then decided to move him. I couldn't leave him like that. But I was successful in moving him to the next position where he is happy sleeping in his crib. YAY GO ME!! K hope you enjoyed :)

Water Fun!

This weekend was a blast! But also alot of hard work. We did some with the patio. Not too much but we are starting :) It is way too hot to be out there all day working on it. But its coming along and looking great! On Saturday we went to Lindon Aquatic Center with the neighbors and had so much fun. They had a water slide and a lazy river, which Madison just couldn't get enough of. They also had a toddler area and really yummy food for regular prices. Anyway its a thought for when you guys come up (you know who u are ;) Can't wait for that!! Ok so the pictures are of when we got home from the water park. Madison was just having way too much fun with the hose! Enjoy!

Lots of New Things!

This week has been fun doing some new things with the kids. First off on Sunday we went to see Ice Age 3 in the theaters with the neighbors. It was a first for both kids. Madison did good, she kinda got bored towards the end and just wanted to run around. It was a cute movie, but I think we will wait a while before I do that again. Maybe to see the new Tinkerbell movie or Toy Story 3, yes they are making a third one! Austin did very good for being a baby in the loud theater. He got alittle fussy toward the end because it was his naptime and he wouldn't nurse or sleep! But we ended up laying out a blanket in the second row, we were in the third, and let him play on the floor. It was nice to go see a matinee, on a Sunday, in Utah. Not alot of people in there.

Also I made Jell-o jigglers for the kids as a fun snack and Austin just loved it! It was fun and not really that messy. Although he has a very red tongue and hand now :) Other than that we have just been hanging out at the house, sorting pavers and going for bike rides. Enjoy the pics!

It's been a LONG time.....

But we've been very busy over here with our new friends and getting the patio done. Its been so much fun getting to know our neighbors. They really are great people, and Madison gets along so good with the kids. She constantly looking over to see if their garage is open so she can go play, and the little boy, Kesler, is always telling his mommy that he's ready to come over and play!

The 4th was fun and relaxing. Meet some of the neighbors family and they were really nice. We did a little fireworks for the kids and then went to Redwood Road to watch the fireworks over the valley. It wasn't that impressive and not worth it after the next morning when we realized the mosquitoes ate us up! Anyway other than that its been work work work on the back patio. Garretts done a great job! I've helped here and there but when the kids need their mommy I've gotta be there, right ;) Here's some pictures of what we have done. Enjoy! Whew what a weekend!!

Ok so first off I'm so glad the weather is better! Its so nice to be able to do some yard work and just be outside. We added alittle to the yard with bricks surrounding the tree and front flower bed. It looks so nice.
Madison now sleeps in her big girl underwear. She didn't have an accident the first night,but did last night. Its not very fun changing a bed at 3 in the morning. But she is so proud of herself for getting up in the morning and going straight to the potty. Such a big girl. We are so proud of her too!
Found a great deal on KSL for keystone pavers yesterday afternoon. Got about 500 square feet of pavers for $450. Thats $.90 a square foot!!! I'm so excited, but felt bad because we had to make three trips to West Jordan and hand load and unload by hand. Luckily we have some awesome neighbors and friends who helped us out, but it still took Garrett til 3 in the morning to finish getting them home. Poor guy. He's beat!
Thats about it for us this weekend. Had a great weekend spending time together. Tomorrow we have a going away BBQ for some really good friends. I'm really sad they are moving but know its best for their family. I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! Enjoy the warm weather.

Zoo Trip and more

We are still trying to recuperate from the camping trip thats why I haven't posted in awhile. That and we just got a new computer so I don't have to fit the screen to type!! This past weekend we went to the zoo. It was fun and very tiring. The hills there are not fun!! :) Anyways we had a good time seeing all the fun animals and new things at the zoo. I had to go to the dentist again on Thursday to get some cavities filled, so I pretty much slept the whole day away. Yesterday we went to see our pavers again and decided that we are going somewhere else. Found a good deal on cobblestone but need a minimum of 2000 square feet which we don't need. So we are looking for something new for the patio. Any ideas?? Not much else going on, just everyday things. Trying to find something for me and Madison to do this summer, just the two of us, but can't seem to find anything that works with Garretts hours. Hopefully the weather gets better and we can just hang out outside!

Our Adventure

Love this photo. Thank you Michelle! Our camping trip was, well......unforgettable! It was beautiful and fun and WET! The days were great, filled with bike rides, walks, fishing, and lots of yummy food. Oh and rain :) The nights were alittle harder. It was cold and Austin didn't sleep good unless he was sleeping with me. Madison got a new big girl bike from Papa and Grandma and her cousins had lots of fun teaching her how to ride it. She loves it. She had so much fun with them and was truly heartbroken when we left. She cried for a very long time :( The trip home was so long. The kids had had enough and were tired of being buckled up in the truck. But it was a good trip all in all. Good memories that will stay with me for a long while ;)

About time....

Austin has finally started sleeping better at night. Only waking up a few times at night, but putting himself back to sleep. For two nights he didn't eat at all through the night! It's nice, but I'm still not sleeping as good cause I'm worried about how long he's sleeping. LOL.
We had a good weekend. I got some new clothes, my mother's day gift. Very nice to have things that fit right :) We had a small BBQ here at the house. That was nice to hang out with our friends and relax. Madison got to stay up late and play with the kids around the neighborhood. She had a blast. Alittle cranky the next day, but it was worth it. During last week we went to a park with Laura and her kids and found a really neat park next to a "lake". The kids played a bit and then we let them wade in the water. It was really fun and sandy. I love water and sand! We'll have to go back and bring the swim suites. No pictures. To much work to juggle a camera along with everything else I brought.
Other than that we've just been hanging out, getting to know the neighbors. Enjoying our grass, enjoying our house. Getting excited to go camping, but dreading getting ready! Happy Monday everyone!

BIG Boy

At Last!!

First off I must tell everyone that we finally got grass in the backyard!! It was such a long afternoon and I'm so sore this morning, but it looks really good! It only took 6 hours to do but we got it done :)
The kids had their appointments today at the doctors for their checkups. They both did so good! Madison weighs 30lbs and is in the 25 % for that and is 36.5 inches high which is in the 40% for her. They took her bloodpressure and she did so good. Doctor says everything is good with her. Austin weighs 15 lbs 12 oz which is in the 22% for that and is 25.5 inches which is in the 25% for him. He got his shots and did so good with them. He's such a brave little guy! We started him on carrots and he does ok with them. Tonight it is green beans. We'll see how he likes them :) SO the kids are great and mom and dad are exhausted!! Good times!

First Fishing Trip

New Niece

Tabitha and Clint had their baby yesterday. A little girl they named Lena Rose. She was 8lbs 6oz (I think) and was 20 inches long. Tabitha went in on Wednesday to get induced and about 24 hours later she wasn't' progressing so they decided to do a C-section. I guess she wasn't even positioned to come out naturally. But she is good and has a full head of hair. Mamma is doing good just really tired. I had a feeling they were having a girl. So sweet! And we get to get rid of ALL of Madison's baby clothes YAY!!!
Other than that.....Austin slept all from 7:30-3:30 the night before last. It was so nice, but scary too LOL. I went running in there to make sure he was ok :) He's doing good, really wanting to follow Madison. Going to start carrots tonight for dinner. YUM!
Madison is good. We went fishing on Wednesday and she had so much fun. Her and her daddy caught a fish and she gave it kisses and was all about holding it. After holding the fish she was washing her hands and got her shoes wet. It was such a nice day that we just went ahead and let her play in the water! She got soaked. It was fun to watch her just "let loose". And I was proud of her for not freaking out in her wet clothes. After we got dried off it was a quick trip to the park, another home depot run, dinner, and home. It was a long, but beautiful day with the family! I guess I'll post pictures soon.
Other than that we are just getting the yard ready for grass next week and slowly getting ready to go camping.

Still broken!

SO we thought everything was going good with Charlie but the night before last he had two seizures again. So off to the vet agian where he had another one. The vet said that its common with his breed and it usually starts around his age. He's on some medicine and we are trying to regulate it? Good times! He had another one this morning that lasted longer and seemed harder than the ones before, but he seems ok now.
The kids are great. I think Austin is teething. He loves sucking on his fingers and toes when he can! LOL. Madison is well a three year old I guess. She has this attitude lately that came out of no where. But we still love her!
We are hoping to go fishing this weekend, but we will see how the weather goes. Grass should be coming soon too for the backyard. Can't wait for that!! Ok thats all for now. Austin is awake.

Madison's Party

Madison's birthday was so much fun! And that little girl is so spoiled!! Thank you everyone for all of your birthday gifts and wishes! She had so much fun and really got into her birthday this year which made it really fun for me. I made her cake, a blue tinkerbell one, and made her three little cupcakes cause she wanted three cakes and three balloons. And yes she picked the color blue for it all. And it was so fun to share it all with Aunt Traci who came over for it.

In other good news we got our yard done in the front. Yeah! We got grass, one tree, and five little bushes. Oh it looks so good and makes the house feel more "homey". LOL Madison is super excited to finally have some grass to play one. Thanks again for making Madison's birthday special. Love you all!
