Beautiful Day In The Mtns.

We had such a good time yesterday. We took a drive up American Fork Canyon and took some pictures on the "film camera"!! I realized how much i miss and LOVE that camera. It was so fun to take the pictures with it. Hoping to get pictures by the time we come home. We went to Cascade Springs. So beautiful!! A small little hike that could be a bigger one if you wanted, but since we didn't plan on hiking we just did the small loop. So many beautiful waterfalls, kinda reminded me of a Japanese garden. Austin did very good walking, but didn't like holding hands so that was kinda a pain. Madison did so good hiking up the big hills and not complaining. After that we headed in Heber and found a park to eat lunch. The weather was windy, but we made the best out of it and enjoyed eachothers company. Seems like it's been awhile since we've done something like this and it was really nice.
Garrett got all our gardens hooked up to be watered automatically, since I have problems remembering to water things. So nice!!
Other than that not much going on over here. The kids love playing outside and in the garage, they've kinda turned into their little playground!
Austin has been screaming lately, ALOT. Like he's trying to communicate, but can't quite tell us what he wants. It's very annoying and I don't know what to do for him, besides timeouts in his crib when he screams for so long. Frustrating!!
I've been doing a few Zumba classes still, and still love them. They are so much fun. And I feel like my tummy is tightening up.
We are looking forward to coming home and seeing everyone. Got alot to do before we leave though- packing, and cleaning, and making sure we don't forget anything. Oh so fun!!

Austin's Doctors Appointment

Yesterday was Austin's doctors appointment. He got three shots, which he did so good. He doesn't cry with his shots! Such a brave little guy. They were bothering him last night though. He weighs 20.5 lbs and is 30 1/4 inches long. He's lost weight since his last appointment in February, only a few ounces but its a loss and he's only gained one pound since November. So she wants me to try putting Olvatine or Carnation drink mix in his milk, since he only really drinks Chocolate milk and offer more "good" foods more often. If he hasn't gained in a couple months she wants him back to do some tests. He is growing though, he did grow 1 inch since November and we all know that the boy eats!!! So we'll see and watch him. And I'll keep you all updated!

On a funner note I got me some vinyl and a new cricut cartridge yesterday!!! Can't wait to do some crafts!!

Hello Everyone!!

Yes we are still alive!! It's so hard to get on here and post anymore. I've been battling sinus and ear infections and then bad reactions to the antibiotics, I haven't wanted to do anything but bum around. This week I'm feeling better and my sinus infection is clearing up so I'm hoping things will get back to normal. Last weekend we were able to get some yard work done and my flowers finally came in so our yard is looking so good. Too bad its been too wet to go out and play in it. I had a very good Mother's Day! I got so spoiled and got a new bike with a pull behind for the kids. Madison loves it. I haven't gotten to take Austin out in it yet, the tire popped, but I'm looking forward to riding with the kids alot when it warms up.
The kids have been so good lately. They have been playing together really good. They both go upstairs and play in their rooms. There are times though that Madison doesn't want baby brother in her big girl room, but other than that they are good together. He has bitten her once or twice, which he's been sent to the corner for. And so it starts! He's sleeping through the night now and really is starting to become a little boy. He's getting so big!! Its amazing to watch him play outside with his sister and the neighbor kids. He goes to the doctor today so I'll have an
update on him later.
Madison is growing like a weed too! I swear sometimes I look at her and think she's 7 and then there are other times I look at her and she is acting like a 2 year old. Trying really hard to balance that out, for both our sakes! She has a fantastic imagination and loves coloring and drawing pictures. I think she's gonna be an artist like her Grandma! She's getting very excited for the summer so we can go camping and fishing.
Anyways, besides all the sickness, we are all doing good over here. I'll send an update of AJ's appointment later on.

Austin's New Room

So I finally got his room done and I just love it!! I used frog tape for the stripe, which I love for stripes, not really for the baseboards. The colors look so good together, but the tan could have been alittle browner. So glad to have it done!!
