Had a great visit with my sister's family. Love those new little guys. They are so adorable and tiny! Got my baby fix in and I'm all set for now! There were tons more pictures taken but on my sister's camera. I will share when they do!

 Family
Had a beautiful Thanksgiving. Good food. Good company. And a very relaxing chair and sunroom. We are so blessed to have gotten the chance to come over for Thanksgiving. Thank you Kathy!

Superheros!!

Had a wonderful morning with nothing to do so I pulled out the "fuzzy sticks" and made several things. On of my favorite things we made were Super Hero masks for the kids and their furry friends! Then they went and found their walky talkies and their guns and played! It was great and the kids loved it. I even got in on the action and made myself one :)

FireTruck Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Austin!! His fourth Birthday was a success. Daddy started the day off right with four yummy pancakes and four yummy pieces of bacon shaped as a 4. At the party we played flame bowling, opened presents, checked out the local fire department, and ate yummy cupcakes!! We almost missed the firefighters for the party because they were out on call, but we went back a 2nd time and tracked them down. They are so awesome to take time out of their day to make a little boy happy for his birthday. And mommy got a special treat too....check me out dressed as a firefighter!! I loved it! It was fun to get all dressed up, man their gear is HEAVY!! A couple of the kids didn't like me dressed up but our kids had a blast seeing mommy in there. They got to sit in the fire truck and the back of the ambulance. All in all it was a fun time. The party was great, Austin got spoiled as usual!! Now to find a place for all these toys....especially with Christmas just around the corner!

Ruptured Ear Drum...WHAT!?!?

In the past when Madison is experiencing ear pain we rush her in for fear it may be an ear infection. After scraping inside the ear, flushing with water, and more scraping, followed by screams and tears from Madison they say, "There's nothing wrong, she's fine." This has happened twice. So when she came to me on Sunday with ear pain I said, "lets wait it out." Sunday night was a bear. She slept with me and was in so much pain we both only got a few hours of sleep. Monday morning she was exhausted so I kept her home from school. The pain wasn't as bad and by noon she was bouncing around the house. I thought to myself, "I'm so glad we didn't make a Sunday doctors appointment!" By 4:30 she crashed, hard, and I rushed to make an appointment for 6:40. By the time we had gotten her there she had taken two "naps" and hardly moved. It was freaking me out. Garrett stayed home with us and helped calm her down when she got upset. The doctor took one look and said, "I think she ruptured her ear drum." My heart sank and I immediately felt the guilt overwhelm me! My baby girl....how could I let this happen. Our girl is such a trooper though and was happy to have some medicine to help her ear. She stayed home again yesterday and when Austin went to school we were able to have a couple of hours to play together. She's off to school today, in a little pain, but with a smile on her face. She missed school so much. Momma learned a good lesson in what NOT to do and Austin learned, well is still learning, how to be soft and quiet when someone is sick. And we all experienced the amazing powers of Daddy. He is amazing at getting us to calm down when we are freaking out and at reassuring us that it will be ok! So that's what has been happening here. I am two days behind on the grocery shopping and party planning for Austin's 4th birthday party on Friday, but we survived and I am determined to make Friday a blast for our lil' man!

Priceless

Absolutely the most precious, peaceful, adorable thing I have ever seen. The kids got a full weekend of sleepovers since Aunt Traci and Uncle Phil had Aj's room. On the second night this is what I walked into when I checked on them for the night. Both of them fast asleep on one bed. Poor Madison was half off of hers, but it doesn't look like she minds at all!

Halloween 2012

Austin a skeleton. Madison Izzy the pirate.
Not leaving a bowl full of candy this year....bring on the sucker pumpkin!!
Love, Love, LOVE Pinterest with all their fun ideas. Got both the sucker pumpkin and the milk jug ghosts from there. They both turned out amazing and was so fun to make. The kids helped with both and loved seeing their hard work turn out so beautifully! We trick-or-treated for a couple of hours around the neighborhood. Even Garrett got to enjoy it this year with us. AND both kids walked!! No more strollers/wagons when we go trick-or-treating again...yay!! This is one happy momma....can you tell ;)

Pumpkins & Paint

Our good friends came over for some paint and cookie decorating. We love having them over for craft fun!!

Aj's Field Trip to Cornbellys!

Austin's first field trip with his preschool. We went to Cornbelly's, which is a HUGE pumpkin patch. It was cold and half the stuff was closed for the schools, but we managed to still have a blast with his school friends.

Hee Haw Farms

Sorry Its been a long time since I have added any pictures. We have been keeping ourselves busy around here. We will start with Hee Haw Farms. So much fun. It was a smaller pumpkin patch but big enough to keep us all entertained. We went with our mommy group friends, who are amazing!! The kids had a blast here then off we went to lunch at Md's for some nuggets and extra play time. More pictures will follow, look for them in you email!
