New Wheeler, New Gypsy....lots of fun!

Wow this week was amazing. Monday we got ourselves a new four wheeler. A 2007 250 cc little blue thing for me to ride around on. Although it is standard, so I'm working on figuring out how to ride it. Took it out today for a ride and I'm getting it. It's gonna take alot of practice, but hopefully I can get to the point where I can take one of the kids with me because that is why we bought another 4wheeler. Also went to the Scrapbook Expo and got me a Gyspy. Very excited to have that. Its like a portable Design Studio (which I wanted) but better. Can't wait to play around with it. Also got 7 new cartridges with it which totally pays for the thing itself.!!!. Madison has her first teacher conference on Wednesday and her first tball practice on Thursday. Next week is going to be a busy week!! I'll update everyone about that later and try to add some pictures.

Feeling Good!

What a week this was. I've been riding my bike like crazy this week. Been to the park a few times and over to my friends house on the bike. And yesterday went on a 2hour/2park bike ride with my 2new friends. Wow two must be my lucky number :) Left here at 10:30 and rode to a new park, left there and rode to the green park behind our house and then home. Got home at 12:30. All while pulling the 2kids (70pounds!!!) What a ride!!! It hurt like crazy while riding and I was always in the back, but it felt good to do something good for my body.
Garrett went to a meeting for the Tball coaches. Her first game is on April 30th (which is also the day I was going to do her party). So I think we will just watch her play (game at 9am) with those who can make it, maybe got to Chili's or something for lunch, and then a BBQ at our house with cake and ice cream. Sound fun?? Maybe we can do some shopping, for those who need to get some big town shopping in, after lunch!
Other than riding our bikes everywhere we are just hanging out have fun enjoying the weather! Hope you all are too :)

Week 1

Well week one went very smoothly, but the start of week two in the big bed is starting off bad :( He fought me yesterday to take a nap, but did end up sleeping for a little bit after he came out and had the rest of his lunch. And last night he was up 4 or 5 times just crying. We'll keep going with it. Just wanted to let everyone know how he's been doing.
His cough is back too this week, which may be why he's not sleeping well. I've had to give him two Abutrol treatments for the wheezing in his lungs, and of course the regular treatments.
Got some news on Madison's Tball team. She will be on the same team as her friend Kesler down the street AND Garrett gets to be the assistant couch for them!!! He's very excited and hopes his work schedule will let him participate as much as he wants.
And thats about it for over here. I pulled out some of my spring decorations so it feels more like spring over here. Just gotta get rid of the snowflake tablecloth :) Hope you have a great weekend!

Night 3.......

WAS AWESOME!!! He went to sleep without any fight and he slept ALL NIGHT!!! And woke up after 7am :) Probably would have been so freaked out but I slept all night too LOL! Nap was good too, went right down and didn't get out of bed at all. I actually had to go in at 4 to wake him up....Of course we will see how tonight goes....Garrett had to work so it's just me putting him down for the first time by myself since we got his big boy bed.

Night 1 and 2......

NIGHT 1...........he went to bed just fine but only slept til 10pm. At 10 he woke up crying and we put him back to sleep about 3 times before he finally had enough and was crying non stop for an hour. Not sure what was wrong he was just upset and didn't want to calm down. At midnight Garrett took him for a drive where they ended up at McDonald's. Austin said he was hungry and wanted a hamburger. By the time they were home he had eaten the whole thing.....he must have been hungry!!! After that he went right to sleep and I peeked in on him at 4am. He was up bright and early at 6:30am. For nap he went right in and slept for almost 2 hours without a fight!!! :)
NIGHT 2.........was so much better!!! He went right to sleep again and only woke up once at 11pm. He was very happy to have me give him an "its ok" kiss and put him right back down where he slept til 6:20am this morning!!! And now for nap he's sleeping without a fight again!!

Austin's Big Boy Bed!

Well here it is.....finally!! We went and got his bed today, well mattress, and he was very excited to get it. We kept asking him where we were going and he kept saying, "big boy bed!!" So very cute. Hopefully tonight will go smoothly!! HA will let you know all about that later :)
