Madison's Party

Madison's birthday was so much fun! And that little girl is so spoiled!! Thank you everyone for all of your birthday gifts and wishes! She had so much fun and really got into her birthday this year which made it really fun for me. I made her cake, a blue tinkerbell one, and made her three little cupcakes cause she wanted three cakes and three balloons. And yes she picked the color blue for it all. And it was so fun to share it all with Aunt Traci who came over for it.

In other good news we got our yard done in the front. Yeah! We got grass, one tree, and five little bushes. Oh it looks so good and makes the house feel more "homey". LOL Madison is super excited to finally have some grass to play one. Thanks again for making Madison's birthday special. Love you all!

I can't believe our little Madison is 3!! OH where did the time go. It has been a very beautiful ride with this special girl of ours. We are very blessed! Happy birthday baby!

Our poor little Charlie

The dog is in need of a groom, but we had to get him updated on all of his shots. So on Monday I take him in to get a comprehensive exam. Well it turns out his teeth were really bad and the vet was really concerned so we had his teeth done on Wednesday. They said everyting went really good and he should be fine. So he came home and seemed normal. Well early Thursday morning he had two seizures! It was the scariest and craziest thing I've seen. Our poor little guy. So we went back to the vet on Friday and he had one there too. They think it may have been some of the anesthetic they gave him to put him under on Wednesday, so the kept him for Friday to flush out all of the medicine and he's been fine since. And he still isn't groomed! I feel so bad for him and just want him to hang out at home for a bit. He was at the vet four different times last week. Thankfully we go through Banfield at Petsmart and have him on a wellness plan. All of these visits only cost us $90. I guess he's just getting older. They were so good to him there. They kept telling us how good he was and how much they just love him! He would just run around the vet office instead of being in the kennel all day. They told us that "he was sick of being in there". They took such good care of him for us. So nice that they went the extra mile for us.
Other than that excitement Garrett has been doing alot of work in the backyard and we are going to get the sprinkler system in this weekend. So excited! We've got the strings out where we want grass and we can really picture it. So can't wait!! Just a few more weeks. I also painted the little wall in our living room red! Red is such a hard color to paint. You can definitely see all my mistakes!! Once I fix those it will look really good! Lots of hard work going on over here. Its so nice to have a home that we can fix up our way. Happy Monday everyone!

still here....

.......doing day to day things. it seems i'm on the internet each day just checking on things but never really post about our life. it's been a crazy, busy week. Charlie was at the vet tuesday getting a checkup and we went to kid to kid, where i got the kids 5 pants and a hat for Austin for under $20!!! and then we went to mcdonalds and that was just crazy! they are remolding and we went there right at lunch time and well just crazy! yesterday we went to Laura's house and let the kids play. it was fun and really relaxing. lots of girl talk! today the dog is at the vet again getting his teeth done and tomorrow he will be getting groomed (which was the whole reason for getting updated of shots). Austin is not sleeping good again. he was up all night crying. i only got 5 hours of on and off sleep and i'm so tired. i wish he would just sleep! he is taking good naps during the day though, 2-3 hours at a time, which is nice but i can't catch up on my sleep. but i do notice that when he sleeps good during the day that night is a good night. (crossing my fingers! he's sleeping right now). anyways i'm rambling and NEED to put the easter pictures on. happy thrusday everyone!

Busy 4 day weekend

YAY!! they are back. I missed our four day weekends. and we got so much done this weekend. i painted madison's room, went grocery shopping and looked at brick for our patio, dyed easter eggs, had easter today so Garrett could be involved, and took the kids to an easter egg hunt, and tilled the back/front yard!! i'm so tired and just wanna sleep!! madison's room looks good, i think i should have done a little lighter yellow but she loves it! easter was fun. madison did so good finding the eggs the easter bunny left in the house, but at the hunt she didn't know what to do. i told her to run to the middle and don't think i specified on picking them up. poor girl was just running around. she only got two eggs, but she says she had fun. pictures will come soon!

New Pics.

Oi today is going by so slow. We didn't sleep good again last night. I've kinda been slacking with the whole CIO but tonight is the night we are getting started again for reals! The weather is beautiful today. We went for a walk around the neighborhood this morning, hoping it would wear out Madison enough to take a nap. Nope, no nap for her now for about a week. She still does quiet time though so thats nice. After quiet time we took some Easter pictures. They turned out ok. Madison had so much fun! I was done but she wanted more taken of her, so we did. Nothing much else going on. Going to go out ot the garage soon and make some hamburgers on the grill and let the kids play a bit outside. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from today.

Things are getting better!

Two night ago I decided to let Austin "cry it out" thinking maybe this will get him sleeping better. The first night was rough, he cried alot but we got through it. He was even a good baby yesterday considering all the sleep he missed crying. Last night we gave him cereal, which he loved. He was so ready. Wanting to help with the spoon. He was so happy last night. SO he went to bed with a full tummy and slept for 5 hours straight and only woke up twice! It was a wonderful night. I feel so rested! Poor guy all he needed was alittle more in his belly!
Yesterday we went to the mall with Laura and her kids. We had so much fun. Madison and Austin were so good. Today we have a birthday party to go to for the neighbor boy. It should be fun. Pictures will come soon from last night. Have a great weekend everyone!
