Still here!

So it's been a long time since I've been on here. We've been busy busy with visitors and getting the house settled. We had a great visit with Kevin and Michelle. It was weird to talk with just them and not have the girls laughing and playing in the background. My sister and her hubby also came up that weekend. We went shopping for baby stuff, and it wasn't stuff for my baby. We got to see an ultrasound of their baby. So cute. He/She has got some checks and one big head. (Thanks to his daddy!) They didn't want to know the sex, good for them I say! Went to Famous Daves for dinner and it was alright. The brisket was

awesome and now I'm craving some more!

I took the kids to the park yesterday. The weather was beautiful, alittle windy but nice. We only played for about 45mins cause Madison had an accident. So we went to Laura's house for lunch and let the kids play some more. They get along so nice, it was fun to watch them play again.

So I got alittle problem with Madison. We were at McDonalds playland on Monday and some kids fell down and I guess she laughed at them. The older girl was very worked up over it, calling Madison mean. I tried talking to her and telling her that we ask if they are alright when they fall down and she said,"no mom we laugh, haha." (Lauras boy likes to throw himself around to get the kids to laugh and I think that is where it comes from). So I'm not sure what to do about this problem. Any ideas??

a beautiful weekend!

Had a good weekend. Saturday Grandma and Grandpa visited and we had a great time hanging out and laughing at the kids. Madison loved the visit and still talks about snowballs on her head! As they were leaving she comes up to Garrett and I and asks if she can go with Grandma. It was really cute!
Sunday was Daytona. It was relaxing to bum around all day and watch the race. It didn't finish like it should have, (damn rain!) but it was still nice to watch with Madison and Garrett.
Monday was busy but very good. Madison had her first dentist appointment and she did AWESOME! She let them take xrays, clean her teeth with the spinner/polisher thing, and floss her teeth. Everything looks good and the dentist said her teeth are just hurting cause of the molars coming in. He even looked at Austin's gums for me to make sure the "ridge" on the bottom wasn't a tooth. After the dentist we went to McDonald's to play for lunch. She did so good playing with other kids. Some were being alittle mean and she never got mean back, just went about playing. Hope that makes sense. There was alittle boy at the dentist who kept hitting her and she did good by not hitting back. Garrett thinks she should have fought back, but I am proud of her for being "the bigger person" so to say! We also picked up my mom from the airport and are having a good visit with her.
Can't wait for the weekend. Get to see Michelle and Kevin and my sister Tabitha and her husband. We are going to the mall to see the baby and they want us to be there. Can't wait to see their baby. Maybe we can see what it is!!! I do know what both parts look like now. So even if they don't wanna know maybe I can sneak a peek! LOL. I think that would be hard to keep it from them and not slip. Anyways I'm rambling!! Have a wonderful day!

Don't remember much about this day except we were living with Charity on base and this is right out the front door on the walkway. I piled up some dirt for her to play in and she got it everywhere. And the purple flower in her hair was such a cute touch to a perfect little dirty girl! :)

Birthday Party

Friday night we had a 'suprise' birthday party for Garrett. It was fun trying to keep it a secret from him. Madison kept trying to tell him everything. It was fun!

Potty training is going really good. For two days she hasn't had one accident AND we have even been out of the house. Oh and she has gone #2 once in the potty....and a few times in her diaper at night.

Had a good visit with my sister and her hubby. Went shopping and out to dinner WITHOUT the kids! We had a blast. Good times. K gotta get going. Have a wonderful day!

AHHH the joy of potty training!

Really it is going better than I thought it would go. She is having some accidents. Yesterday she made it all the way to the bathroom but couldn't get her pants off. (I know no pants, but she insisted!) It's usually in the mornings that she has her accidents. All in all we are doing really good with going #1. Now going #2 is a problem. She hasn't gone for 2 days. If she doesn't go today I'm gonna call the doctor. Its not like her to go for so long and I'm sure she's just scared to go in the potty. Plus I told her if she goes in her underwear I'll throw them away, so she probably doesn't want her underwear in the garbage. I don't know what to do about it. Any suggestions??

Austin didn't sleep good last night. He was really fidgety (don't know how else to describe it). He wasn't really hungry but couldn't sleep either. Last night was rough. Our communication was way off. Mostly because I was exhausted. Poor guy.

Other than that I'm slowly trying to get the remaining boxes put away. I did do some scrap booking yesterday and loved it. It was super easy too. I had my pictures, paper, and embellishments all in the clear paper protector that I wanted to use, ( I did that all before Austin was born) and it made it so easy to do. I just cut the pictures out and glued them into place. I did three layouts in 30 mins. I'm gonna do that from now on. Just spend one afternoon printing out pictures and putting them in the paper protectors with the paper and embellishments I wanna use so when i have a few minutes its all ready for me to scrap! Make sense :) That's my plan anyway we will see how it goes!

Good Weekend

Garrett had 6 days off and it was so nice. We got so much done, but still have tons left to do. Aww gotta love moving!

Started potty traing Madison for good this time! :) Pull ups weren't working so we got some padded underwear. Those kinda worked. She was still having accidents. So many in fact I had to put her in regular underwear and she's been doing great! She even went by herself. But it is naptime and she hasn't gone #2 so we will really see how good its going.

Austins doing great. Getting so big and holding his head up really good. Still eating every 2-3 hours even at night. Hopefully he'll grow out of that soon!
