Happy Birthday Makenzie!

So I was thinking this morning about posting a shout out for our niece and it feels like I just did this for her 5th birthday! I can't believe she is 6 already! Happy Birthday Kenzie!!!
Not much has been going on over here. Friday night we had a bit of a scare with Madion's humidifier. It ran out of water and started melting the plastic. We woke up at 5am to the smoke detectors screaming "FIRE". Her room was half full of smoke. All is good though we got her out and she seems ok from it. No damage to her or her room. It did give us a good example to talk fire safety though. I still haven't been able to get my photos off my camera, but I'm still working on it. I'm trying a new system to cleaning the house and laundry. Couple rooms, a couple loads a day. I'm hoping that will help keep the whole house clean at the same time :) Ok I've gotta get AJ some breakfast. I hope everyone has a beautiful Thanksgiving!!!!

Birthday Party and visits!

We had such a good visit in Elko last week. Austin's first birthday party was good. The cake turned out better than I thought it would so that made me very happy. He got so many gifts!! Thank you everyone. Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Ronnie's new house if so beautiful. We had a great visit with them. Michelle took some pictures at the Grove in Lamoile and they turned out so nice. I can't wait to show them off! Thank you! It was a fun time, but we were all ready to be home by Sunday. The kids were very cranky, but are doing good now. Austin had his 12month appointment yesterday. He weighs 19.4lbs and is 29 inches long. He also got three shots, which he is behind on. I found this out yesterday that he was behind all the way from his 6th month. SO he got his 6 and 9 month shots and will get his 12 month shots at his 15 month appointment. Kinda makes me upset that they didn't catch this sooner, but he's ok so thats all that matters. We talked about weaning him and it seems I'm going to have "work" at it more with him than I did with Madison. She just seemed to stop and move along to milk, but he seems to want the comfort of nursing. So we are playing that by ear. Now it's time to get ready for the holidays! Trick-or-Treat!

Ok so we've been busy doing the usual halloween things! We had a carving party last weekend with the neighbors. Lots of fun. and Then we went to a trunk or treat, a school carnival, and of course the usual trick-or-treating. It was fun dressing up and going with the kids. Austin did really good and didn't try to rip off his costume too much :) Austin has started milk and I am slowly weaning him. I think he said "kitty" the other day when he saw Joey. So cute, he still doesn't say mama but he's mastered kitty. Hmmm. Other than that we are just hanging out. Getting ready to come home and see everyone. On a sader note, 7 more days till my baby is one!

So it's been awhile....

We've been really busy over here trying to get better. I'm so tired with the cold and the sick kids. We are slowly trying to get Garrett ready for his hunting trip. I'm hoping he has a good time and gets to shoot a deer. Hopefully we'll be feeling better by then. My sister and her hubby are coming up for that weekend. Austin has gotten two teeth and I wanted to share the picture I got of them. And I think Madison's outfit for Halloween is complete so I thought I'd so that off too! Hope everyone is well. I'll try to post more, when we get off our sick butts and get out of the house :)

Oh the things they say!

Madison and I are watching a movie and somehow Christmas popped into my head, so I asked her what she wanted Santa to bring her. She thought for a moment and said, "I want a new piggy bank". So cute. Not sure where that came from, but it was so out of the blue!
Austin is doing good with the breathing treatments. And he is sleeping alittle better so hopefully its helping. He's still got a cough, but I think its part of his cold too. A humidifier to may help, but not sure if I should do warm air, or cold?? Anyone??
Ok I've gotta get in the shower, we have a party to go to today :) Have a great weekend!

Uploading Pictures

So I've noticed that I haven't uploaded pictures to walmart.com for a long time. So I'm getting that done right now. There will be alot of pictures, all the way from July!! Sorry :) Garrett went back to work yesterday on days!! Yay (for the days part) It was nice to have him off for so long and not have to DO anything. The kids loved him home, as did I! We had lots of fun hanging out, going to the fair, riding the four wheeler at 5 mile, and just hanging out together. Madison is good as usual. Just having some issues in the sharing with brother department. Austin is getting big, too big! He's crawling everywhere, which is fun, but I find that I can't sit still for long. (Could be why I'm so behind with the pictures and blog huh). He's got two teeth now, the bottom two, so he's alittle cranky. His cough is getting worse. Not sure why but he seems to cough more when he is excited or hot. Might be asthma?? Got to call the doctor. Going to take the kids to story time at the library tomorrow, which should be fun. Other than that just busy chasing the kids and keeping them busy during the day. Ok gotta finish the pictures and get to the store. Enjoy the pictures!!
