Big Sister Loves!!
Had an amazing visit in Elko. Started the weekend at Aunt Traci and Uncle Philips house. Went out to eat at Dos Amigos (yum) and back to her house for some games! New game I like, Farkle. Way fun! Wednesday and Thursday Morning was spent with Grandma and Grandpa Grider and Aunt Michelle and Uncle Kevin and the girls!! The kids LOVED all of it and played, and played, and played til they crashed on their floor :) Went and saw two cute little puppies. One of them ended up going home with our nieces. He's super cute and ALMOST makes me want one! (This event actually opened up alot of conversation about us getting our own. I'm really glad it did because we learned that the kids aren't quite ready for a new puppy. There is still a lot of talk about Charlie and a few sad moments when they tell us that they miss him. And we learned that Austin doesn't want a brown dog like Grandma's Bailee, but a grey one like his Charlie. It was good to hear because we had it wrong. I'm sure glad that our children can open up and talk to us like they are!) Thursday afternoon we were able to go see the babies and Leena!! I'm sure glad we got to squeeze that in because I sure needed those loveies that we got from them. What beautiful kids my sister has!! Thursday night and Friday morning we got to see my dad. We had a wonderful visit with him, yummy breakfast, and a chance for Him and Madison to have a one on one talk about everything!! She sure talked his ear off and Papa enjoyed every minute of it!! Thank you everyone for making our trip a really good one, one that I will remember for a long time!! I sure miss everyone when we are apart, but with my 100+ pictures, skype, and our memories of the trip we will always remember!
