Whew this was a busy month....but isn't it always!!

Let's see....the Broncos lost the Superbowl and I was very sad :( but thats the game I guess....can't win them all. It was fun having a small party here just for the family. We ate tons of great food and I "blue & oranged" every food I could. The kids loved it!! 

We had a small party for Garrett's birthday with our friends. Lots of fun, food, and a small bon fire!

Made the kids valentine's day boxes for them. It was lots of fun and the kids had a blast picking out their ideas and then creating them. All the kids at school loved them too!!

My birthday was great!! Turning 30 was a blast and I am so lucky to have amazing family and friends to share my life with. I'm thinking of getting in shape and working out, but we will see how far that thought goes LOL!!

January 2014

A good start to our new year. We enjoyed watching Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 at the local dollar theater. So much cheaper and less crowded. The kids went with our friends and had a blast eating candy and popcorn for dinner :) Got Austin all ready for Kindergarten with a doctors appointment. His iron is a little low so he has been on some extra vitamins. We will go back soon to make sure all is good. We looked into getting a bigger house, but decided now is not the right time to sell. So we are making the best out of our house here and learning to live small. It's not bad and I love our house. It keeps us all together, all the time, and that is something that won't last forever :) Had a visit with my sister, Tabitha and the kiddos. Clint came too but went hunting with Garrett. Those kids are getting so big!! It was so fun to hang out with all five kids and watch them play. The older three got to go swimming with me, oh what fun that was!! We all had a great visit with them and can't wait to see them more in June. Oh and I loved watching my Broncos make it to the Superbowl!! I will try and find the pictures of this month and load and upload them.

New Year, New Adventures!!

We started the new year out with Chinese Lanterns. What a fun thing to do!! I really recommend doing this next year. We lit them and then when they floated away we made wishes about what we wanted for 2014.

Santa on the Fire Truck!!

Austin and Arie had a combined 5th birthday party....a Glow Party!! Everything was glowing under the black lights. It was a really fun party and the kids had a blast!!

Austin and Madison had their very first dance recital!! I loved it. Watching them learn something, work so hard at it, and then perform it in front of TONS of people made Garrett and I so proud! And they had so much fun doing it. Austin did Tumbling with the boys and Madison was in Creative Dancing!

November 2013

After our trip home form Elko and Austin's 5th birthday November went by super fast!! We went to our first hockey game, which was a blast. The kids got a puck from the players, which was a super neat experience. While the guys are practicing they will fling one over the glass for the kids. Really cool, and we wouldn't have know about it if it wasn't for a nice old man there who did it for the kids. The players got in fights, which was really crazy....I forgot that they actually threw punches!! Garrett said my face was priceless when they were fighting LOL. We scored three times (I think), which was awesome because they make a big deal about since the games aren't high scores, and we won!! Which was a treat too!! The kids got a little board towards the end but made it through the game.

Thanksgiving break was a nightmare!! We all got the flu and even had both kids throwing up at the same time!! Not fun!! We ended up pushing Thanksgiving back a day, but still had a nice family dinner. Took some pictures of the turkey but ended up deleting them before putting them on my computer...ugh!! Luckly I don't do that often!!

Austin wanted an Angry Bird themed party, and I must say I had a blast decorating!! Two days for a 45min party...yeah baby ;) A few kids over for a treasure hunt (to find the cake), cake and ice cream, piñata, and presents. It really was perfect....anything more would have been too much! Thank you all for his wonderful gifts!

Had a great visit!! Got to go Trick-or-Treating with the cousins, (pictures on my phone, of course, hopefully I can upload them soon!), My sister and I got to watch the kids for a little bit, and had the boys first birthday party!! Got to meet the new puppy and have our doggies play together for the first time. Went out with some friends and had a blast with karaoke!! All in all it was a really fun, really great trip. One that I will remember for a long time. Thank you everyone for all the great memories made :)
