Our trip to San Diego was a blast!! Made many memories that we won't forget and did some things that we won't again!! The hotel was beautiful and the people were really friendly. Wouldn't stay their again just because it wasn't in town, next to restaurants. The view of the harbor was amazing. Finding places to eat and park was a bit of a pain, everything was so expensive!!
Sea World was so fun!! The whales are so beautiful! We loved them!! The show was super neat, but we didn't get wet...so we went and saw the whale and dolphin show, sat in the front and got SOAKED!! Garrett, Madison, and I loved it...Austin cried and cried!! It was the highlight of the trip for Garrett and I :) Austin on the other hand had a bit of a rough visit. He got soaked and got scared in the bear caves. We finally convinced him to go in the dark, bear cave and a (fake) bear ROARED at him! The poor boy ran out of there so fast, right past Garrett! By the time Garrett got him he was shaking. It was so funny :)
The beach was amazing, alittle cold, but amazing! The kids liked it and had a blast jumping waves, building sand castles, and collecting sea shells.
Stopped in Vegas on the way home and hit Circus Circus, M&M world, and saw the lights at the Belagio. All in all it was a great trip! We learned alot of things about big vacations and saw some pretty amazing sites!!

Little Moab

Took a drive to find Little Moab. Tried going the back way and had to turn around, find a dirt road that cuts across the mountains to Redwood Road. Thankfully Garrett knows his way around these mountains of ours and was able to get us there. Once we got there it was a huge hit with the whole family!! We took a hike to the top, took a "few" pictures, and then back down for a yummy hot dog over an open fire!! Once we all had full belly's it was time to explore the backside and take a "few" more pictures. (I took 136 pictures in 4 hours!) The kids loved climbing and was surprisingly good at it!! After we left it was ice cream for dinner and hot showers!! We had an amazing day together, with great company, and vow to return with the four wheelers and tents!! Here's the Walmart link...

Busy, Busy!!

Well we are all still here and doing great!! Enjoying all this wonderful weather that we have been having. Lets see we will start with Easter. It was good. Colored eggs with the neighbors. Went to the city's egg hunt, which is just a mad dash for eggs in a giant square. Its really boring and crazy but the kids love it :) We also had a small one here with Kelser. Elko was fun! We enjoyed seeing everyone and the drive wasn't bad at all. The kids and I stopped when we needed and took our time there and back. The kids got to help papa on the tractor, play with Baily, paint in Grandmas Studio, go to two parks with Aunt Traci, and have a wonderful dinner with Grandpa , Aunt Tabitha, and Leena. Can't believe how big that girl is!! She's taller than Austin :)
Madison's 6th Birthday Party was crazy!!! but so fun!! Daddy brought her flowers and pizza for all the kids to school on Friday and then her girl classmates came over for a party here. The kids had hotdogs and chips, played some games, ate cupcakes and ice cream, opened presents and just ran and played!! Madison said it was her best birthday ever! Thanks for all her presents she loved them all!!
We all went of a four wheeler ride yesterday. Garrett got to be the lucky one and drive big blue to Rainbow Mountain. Good thing is that shes up and running so we can get her sold and get one that we are all happy with. Rainbow Mountain was fun. The kids love climbing those mountains and playing in all the colorful dirt. We lit a fire and really wanted to get our tents out and camp. Maybe this weekend....we are ready!! Bring on summer!!
Next for us is San Diego in 11 days. Whoa!! I got alot to do!! Better go get started on all the laundry I need to start!!
