Big Boy Seat!

Here he is in his new car seat. He wasn't too sure about it but did seem alittle exctied about seeing new things in the car. It is going to take some getting used to I think! Enjoy!!

UPDATE!

Wow I can't believe I didn't post anything from Christmas!! I did send pictures though!! YAY! Well we had a very nice Christmas. Madison was very excited to set out cookies and milk for Santa and some carrotts for the Reindeer. She woke up early on Christmas morning crying for her presents, almost like she got them taken away. I don't know, it was very strange to wake up to her crying over her presents. Anyways I told her we'd go downstairs and see if Santa came. Well it was dark and she says, "Nope, he didn't come" And then I turned on the lights and she says, "Oh no he did come" So cute. She did a very good job waiting for her Brother to wake up and was very good with letting him open the gifts. Austin did so good opening his presents, but was really more concerned about his breakfast! We did a dinner and invited the neighbors over since I always cook too much food and they were just at home, doing nothing. It was fun to have guests for Christmas dinner.

We've been busy trying to keep entertained. We've gone sledding with the neighbors, which was so fun. Austin loved sledding, but only went a few time cause it was so cold. Madison though kept going and going and going! New Years was ok. We went over to the neighbors and stayed up playing board games. Then at midnight it was a quick trip to the stop sign to shoot the guns and let off some fireworks!! Oh and a quick kiss ;) Then it was off to bed for me.

Austin is fully weaned from nursing now and is doing AWESOME!! He's even sleeping through the night!! I feel so much better getting a full nights sleep! It is great. (Can you tell I'm excited? It's been over a year since I have slept longer than 5 hours at a time!) He's had a sore throat for about a week now and the doctor said that it's nothing that they can give him any medicine for so we are trying some homeopathic things to get rid of it. And we just got him a new forward facing car seat today!! Such a big boy. I'll take pics when it gets in the truck.

Garrett started nights this week, BOO! It's going ,I guess. SO I'm just trying to adjust to new schedules and trying to keep the kids quite while daddy sleeps. So there it is! A big ol' update from us.

Sledding

Here's some pictures of our sledding adventure last weekend. We found alittle snow and let Madison try a little hill all by herself. She loved it!! We had such a blast! Can't wait for more snow. I'm actually off to buy our own sled today!

Snow Fun!!!

This afternoon was perfect for making a snowman and snowball fights. I finally was able to get out there and play with the two of them! We had so much fun, but we missed our little Austin, who was napping. Next time buddy!!!

Christmas Tree and First Snow

Got the Christmas decorations up!! YAY and with help from the neighbors we got the tree done too. We had the neighbors over this weekend for a "soup swap" so to speak. Four different families, four different soups. YUMMY! And all homemade. Today was the first big snowfall out here and was still only about 3 inches. Madison had so much fun with daddy. They even went on a four wheeler ride! After Austin woke up I took him outside for just alittle bit. But before that when we were up in Austins room, Garrett was throwing snowballs at Austin's window and Austin was just loving it. It was one of those Americas Funniest Video moments. So funny! This is the only picture I can post for right now, hopefully soon I can post the ones of the tree.
